I'm so sad to see it go, especially without the NCAA Championship, but it surely was a great one.
There are so many things made this season what it was:
-The Heels recruiting Stilman White.
-Starting out as #1 in the country.
-Playing Michigan St. on USS Carl Vinson.
-Watching some of the pre-season games, along with some regular season games with Will.
-Beating Duke at the Cameron Indoor.
-Being the Regular Season Champions.
-Playing and working as a team even though Leslie Mcdonald & Dexter Strictland tore their ACL's and John Henson & Kendall Marshal injured their Wrists.
-Going farther than Duke in the NCAA Tournament.
-Getting all the way to the Elite Eight despite our lack of Marshall Law.
-Having the best point guard in the Nation.
-Getting to see Ty sitting in the stands watching his beloved Heels on many occasions.
-Watching the games with Megan, sometimes Brandon Pace, and occasionally Q.
So thanks Roy and the boys for yet another thrilling, heart stopping, gut wrenching, tear jerking, scream inducing, wonderfully brilliant season.
And to my boys who are leaving for the NBA... you will be sorely missed.Let the countdown to the 2012-2013 season begin!
